This delightful Elizabethan Manor House, situated in the heart of the Tudor Village of Cuckfield, is the ideal retreat from which to discover the `Garden of England`.

All 22 rooms have their own identity and are named after the two families that have owned the hotel since 1520, some with Four Posters and most furnished with fine antiques.

Our elegant wood panelled restaurant offers excellent Modern English cuisine and a highly acclaimed wine list.

The Ockenden suite has magnificent view over the South Downs and is licensed for Civil Wedding ceremonies. It also has a fine conservatory for private dining.
