In the heart of Perthshire and very close to Auchterarder and the famous Scottish golf courses of Gleneagles. The former 1830`s Coaching Inn has been fully restored by Mark Stevens and Claire Alderson and returned back to the Blackford Hotel.

Wood burning stoves in our restaurant, bar and dining room together with Claire`s special homemade recipes will all help to generate that feeling of contentment, relaxation and escapism from the hustle and bustle of life outside.

We have 8 very comfortable ensuite bedrooms, individually designed to generate a feeling of restfulness and calm.

Our aim is to welcome you to this beautiful part of Scotland, ensure you eat well, relax and enjoy the experience. Whether you are walking, fishing, cycling, shooting, passing through, having a short break, visiting friends, touring Scotland or on business we are only a few miles away from The Trossachs, Stirling, Dunblane, Crieff and Perth. Also only 1 hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews and Dundee. One minute of the A9. Food served all day. Families welcome.

Our friendly team of staff will be delighted to help with the organisation of tailor-made golf tours, private fishing or any requirements you may have.

We look forward to welcoming you to this special place.
