Nestled in 28 acres of woodland and gardens on the sloping hills of the Scottish Borders, this stunning baronial mansion has log fires burning in its elegant public rooms and the restaurant with its hand-painted ceiling. The 400 year old walled garden is something very special. Allegedly the oldest walled garden in Scotland, it produces a variety of vegetables for the kitchen; it also has a games area as well as a seating area for quiet reflection.
