The towers, spires, turrets, gilded staircases and shining silver of a magnificent Victorian Mansion. Once the home of Sir William Younger, Auchen Castle stands proudly amidst 30 acres of exotic woodland with its own trout loch and boats. The Italian terrace with playing fountain and secluded garden.

Our public rooms are grand, elegant and comfortable, while the bedrooms offer true luxury.

Fresh local produce is the key to our cuisine - Solway Salmon, Galloway Beef, Annandale Lamb and Haggis are available every day.

Auchen Castle is a unique and magical hotel.
