`The perfect lust-den! ` Dannii Minogue, Cosmopolitan

The Witchery`s spectacular and indulgent suites are perfect for those looking for a stay in the most theatrical and magical of settings. Hidden in an historic building on Edinburgh`s Royal Mile, Cosmopolitan described them as one of the seven wonders of the hotel world and they frequently feature among lists of the world`s most wonderful places to stay. Each of seven lavishly decorated, theatrical and antique-filled suite features Bose sound systems, CDs, videos and books as well as cable television, direct dial telephones and mood enhancing lighting. A continental breakfast, chocolates, mineral water, newspapers and a complimentary bottle of Champagne are included within the room rate (from £295 per suite per night).

The suites are available for guests to arrive from 3pm and you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departure at noon. Lunches and dinners can be reserved in either the Witchery, Secret Garden or nearby rooftop Tower Restaurants, or at Rhubarb - The restaurant at Prestonfield. Ratings/Awards:AA 5 DiamondsWine
