hotels in the area The Trengilly Wartha is situated in a small hamlet in an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty, about one mile from the village of Constantine. The hotel`s name translated literally means the settlement above the trees. Nestling in the wooded valley of Polpenwith Creek we are surrounded by six acres of our own gardens and meadows.

The hotel has been under the personal stewardship of the owners, the Logan and Maguire families, for more than a decade. During that time, the Trengilly has been built into one of the country`s leading residential inns. The six cottage bedrooms in the main building al have their own facilities and are thoughtfully and attractively furnished. The recently built, superior garden rooms overlook our own lake and are ideal for double or family occupancy. They are located about 30 metres from the hotel building.
