Charnwood Lodge has been established for 15 years. In 2001 the present owners Liz and Klaus purchased the adjoining property thus enabling them to expand the Lodge, giving their Guests more public areas to relax and enjoy their stay, disabled access and more private car parking. The most impressive feature of the expansion is the Dining room that is set in the atrium, furnished with solid oak furniture and a feature water fountain in a small-enclosed courtyard. The Lounge and Bar areas are all tastefully decorated and furnished to suit their surroundings. Although the Lodge has the convenience of being situated on the A6 only 10 minutes walk from Loughborough Town centre and all its amenities, the tree lined driveway and gardens give a feeling of peace and relaxation
