In a country packed with over 10,000 hotels, very occasionally you stumble on a rare gem of an hotel where the building, food service and history blend to form something quite exceptional.

Built in 1877 by King Edward VII (then Prince of Wales) for his much loved mistress Lillie Langtry, this warm inviting home is not only steeped in history and romance but offers the highest standards of fresh food and personal service.

All the bedrooms are individually designed and many, including the King`s own majestic apartment, have 4 posters or jacuzzis.

The magnificent Dining Room with it`s Minstrel`s Gallery needs to be seen to be properly appreciated. Award winning food.
