Close to the centre of Stamford and beautifully situated next to Burghley Park, the Garden House assures its guests of a warm welcome. An 18th century country house hotel where its 20 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms are furnished with antiques and pretty floral fabrics. These have recently been refurbished to a high standard.
Privately owned and managed by John and Janet Finlayson, its conservatory abounds in floral extravaganza, and overlooks the one acre of walled formal gardens. Guests can look forward to a meal of a very high international standard, where good presentation makes the most of fresh produce. Our wine list is personally selected from a small importer and features wines from both the old and new world.
Whether your stay is for pleasure or business, wedding or dinner party, conference or for just passing through, there can be no more peaceful haven from business cares.
