There is something indefinable about Mallory Court that draws people back time after time to relax or indulge, to recharge the batteries and to eat both wisely and well.

Mallory has been created especially for people like you. In this Lutyens-style house, surrounded by ten acres of beautiful grounds, Andrew Grahame and his team preside over a country house hotel and restaurant in which the highest standards of hospitality, comfort and service are taken for granted, and where your welcome is as warm the fortieth time as it is on the first occasion.

The simple fact is that every time you visit, you will experience that particular charm which is, unmistakably, Mallory.

July 2004 saw the unveiling of the stunning new Knights Suite, a state of the art function suite with an additional eleven bedrooms, designed to make the hotel even more attractive to those planning a wedding, conference or event.

The new facilities can comfortably accommodate over 200 delegates for a conference, or up to 150 guests for a wedding breakfast. No matter the size of the group, every individual will experience the unobtrusive service and attention to detail that makes Mallory a superb retreat for executive meetings, private dining, or exclusive use of the hotel and grounds. Each function room has plenty of natural daylight, full air conditioning, adjustable lighting and the state of the art conference equipment.

The eleven new standard bedrooms are contemporary in style with flat-screen televisions, high-speed internet access and magnificent décor that creates a setting of elegance and modernity.

Following the outstanding success of the Knights Suite, there are further developments planned at Mallory Court. To accommodate the varied requirements of the hotel’s customers, a 100-seater brasserie restaurant will be created in the former Groundskeeper’s Lodge which adjoins the Knights Suite, known as the Cottage.

The Cottage will include areas for private dining and small meetings, and looks set to become a popular destination for local food lovers in its own right. It will also allow the Knights Suite to be used for the larger events that Mallory are now able to host. Work began on the Cottage at the start of this month, and is scheduled to be completed in April 2005.
