Enjoy the relaxed smoke-free atmosphere and comfortable hotel accommodation in this Jacobean hall. This 17th century hotel ,one mile country path walk to Whitby and within a few minutes walk of the River Esk. It is an ideal centre for fishing, boating, walking, horse-riding, golf or just quiet relaxation. The historic fishing village of Whitby, with its magnificent beach, safe bathing and varied holiday pastimes, is only a mile away. Just inland is the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the perimeter of which is easily accessible from a network of major roads. The bedrooms, some with shower or bath are fitted with radio and television and offer excellent views of the surrounding countryside. There is a main residential lounge. Facilities also include limited car parking and a spacious rear garden.
