The Weem Hotel is an historic coaching inn, situated at the foot of Weem Rock, 1/2 mile from Aberfeldy. Famously used as barracks for General Wade`s troops in 1733 whilst building the nearby Aberfeldy Bridge.

Family owned, the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and flexible, with the emphasis on first class service and fresh food.

The ensuite bedrooms are individually and tastefully furnished, combining the traditional with the modern facilities expected by the discerning guest of the 21st century. Additional touches such as hot water bottles and cafetieres are provided in all the bedrooms.

The pine breakfast room, with views of the Rock and our courtyard garden, is an ideal surrounding in which to enjoy a hearty start to your day. Relax in a comfortable sofa whilst reading the morning papers in our wood panelled lounges.

The bar and restaurant is elegantly furnished, but retains the charm and ambiance of a rural setting, complete with roaring log fire, a fine selection of malts and real cask ales. Our chef has produced a brasseries style menu (with smaller portions available for the smaller appetite) using the freshest of produce, sourced locally whenever possible. A comprehensive and innovative range of wines completes the dining experience.

Whilst staying with us at the Weem Hotel, all manner of country pursuits are available. There is a wide range of walks in the locality to suit all abilities, together with canoeing, fishing on the River Tay, white water rafting, horse riding and wildlife safaris. There are also a number of local golf courses at which guest membership can be arranged.

Small functions can be catered for and we have a licence to enable wedding ceremonies to be performed on the premises. Children are very welcome.
