The Finnygook is ideally situated for touring the Western Peninsula, Dartmoor, South Cornwall, including the Eden Project (30 minutes) and other well-known gardens such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The Inn, named for `Finnys Ghost` dates back to the 16th Century and is of historical interest. Once the haunt of smugglers, it enjoyed a chequered reputation for over two hundred years. Recent renovations have given a high degree of luxury whilst still retaining the Inn`s original charm and atmosphere. The Inn set between the sea and the countryside is in an area very popular with walkers, for information on walks and the Southwest Coast Path Look Here. The Inn is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and considered as one of the most beautiful areas in the entire West Country. This idyllic location offers something to suit any individual or family. Wonderful Beaches, Fresh water fishing in our local reservoir, sea fishing at Looe, Golfing, or just relaxing and soaking.
