The situation of the hotel on the outskirts of Winchester is a fine setting for what was once a Victorian Gentleman`s residence with its secluded garden and views over open countryside. Some of the Victorian elegance still remains in the Harestock restaurant and the high standard of food served reflects the Victorian desire for good quality.
