Our thatched farmhouse is older than Shakespeare! Sampsons provides the perfect retreat in which to relax and unwind. Built in the 1500s, the house features medieval oak beams and screens (which originally separated the areas for family and cattle), inglenook fireplaces with log fires in the winter, and even a priest`s hideaway hole.

Set in its own grounds in a sleepy village, Sampsons has been owned and run by the Bell Family for two generations. We are well practised in creating the perfect conditions for a restful holiday or business trip.

A range of pretty en-suite rooms is available in our purpose-designed barn conversions around the farm courtyard. All rooms have central heating, television, hot drinks facilities and country views.

For a special treat we have a luxurious suite with balconies and sun deck. A new ground floor, en-suite is available for disabled guests. Our ground floor apartment is perfect for families, groups and guests with dogs, whilst cosy rooms under the thatch in the farmhouse are also offered, and a four poster bed is available.
