The Long Range Hotel is a family run hotel and the longest
established hotel in Budleigh Salterton. It is just four/five
minutes walk from the sea and picturesque Otter Valley. Guests
are made to feel at home and the welcome is both warm and
genuine. Many guest have favourite bedrooms but the majority offer
stunning views over the Otter Valley, coastpath and sea. All double
and twin rooms are individual, have en suite facilities, Colour
Television and well stocked refreshment trays.
The award winning restaurant overlooks the garden and offers an
exciting and varied range of menus from freshly cooked West Country
produce. Guests can enjoy a full range of drinks in cosy sitting
room ,conservatory or patio. To complement the service and dining
experience the wine list is both select and interesting.
Guests on on leaving sometimes wish to put in writing their
appreciation of the service they have received. We would like to share
a few of the comments on the latest page of the visitors book.

The Long Range is an ideal location to explore an area known for
its outstanding natural beauty. Within minutes you can be walking
across the cliffs to Exmouth or Sidmouth or taking a lovely walk along
the Otter Valley which abounds with wildlife. The tranquil garden
and patio area at The Long Range is a perfect setting to relax and
enjoy a few moments before indulging the taste buds in the
garden-side restaurant. However, just two miles away is the
magnificent setting of Bicton Park Botanical Gardens where you can
enjoy a few hours exploring this wonderful and famous all seasons
