Christine and Bill Reeve-Tucker and their family have lived and worked at Glewstone Court for the past 17 years. When they arrived this lovely listed Georgian building was looking a little sad. It is now a warm and welcoming hotel…..antiques, period memorabilia, eastern rugs on polished wooden floorboards, comfy sofas in front of open log fires.
Bill leads his staff from behind the bar!....not all the time, but he has a great love of good wine and pursues his interest with relish.
Christine is the inspiration in the kitchen and has a passion for great food using the best of local seasonal produce from `this larder of England`. Bookings are recommended for both the busy bistro, the restaurant and for their famous Sunday lunch.
Between the two, supported by the efforts of their staff and family, they have in the past years attained numerous accolades including rosettes for cuisine, a Courtesy and Care Award, Hotel of the Year from Which? And have featured on TV in a culinary series.
