The George Washington Golf & Country Club is within reach of Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham. With excellent leisure facilities including a 18 hole Championship golf course the hotel is an excellent base for all. The hotel serves as the ideal location to enjoy a weekend away in a place which has something for everyone.
A number of meeting rooms are available to accommodate 6 to 250 delegates. The Washington Suite, with its own bar, can seat up to 200 people and has all the facilities for audio visual presentations. The suite is also ideal for private functions, easily accommodating 180 guests for a dinner dance.
Shopaholics will enjoy the famous Metro Centre shopping mall or they can visit the nearby cities of Newcastle or Sunderland.
