Acquired in October 1996, the Castle has been sympathetically restored to offer the traditional comforts of an elegant private house whilst retaining an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Beautifully redecorated to the very highest standards, the greatest care has been taken to enhance and compliment exceptional architectural features such as ornamental ceilings, wall plaster work and marble and stone fireplaces.
The Flemish Hall provides an impressive welcome to guests with its historic Flemish carved wood panelling and magnificent fireplace. The principal public rooms include the Victoria Room and the Library. The Great Hall, the State Drawing Room and the Old Dining Room offer superb surroundings for musical events, entertaining and private parties, yet do not disturb the peaceful ambience of a country house.
Launching Restaurant Anise, open every day from 7.30am with last orders at
9.30pm.
