Perthshire - `All of Scotland`. A perenially favourite destination of quite remarkable contrast. And in its capital, Perth, `where city meets country` - proudly stands The New County Hotel. When the Boyle family bought it early in the Millennium year, they had one aim in mind, to make it the best hotel in the fair city. And in a short space of time a tasteful and contemporary refurbishment has created a most stylish Scottish hotel, not just representing fantastic value for money but offering a contrasting and exciting range of facilities and experiences for guests enjoyment really quite unrivalled in the city. The Place Bar and Bistro invites you to savour an interesting, lively and extensive range of bistro style menus, including light snacks, bar meals and a full dinner/evening menu. It has a really vibrant yet very relaxed, easy going contemporary atmosphere. Great food is served from 11 a.m. until 10.00 p.m. every day, drinks till later, and residents till late. The Brasserie is a rather charming, soft, ambient restaurant offering international cuisine with a clear Scottish twist and bias, in impressive a la carte menus equalling those of the finest restaurants around, exquisitely complemented by a carefully chosen, comprehensive list of wines from all over the world. Enjoy lunch here from 12 noon - 2.30 p.m. and informal evening dining 6 - 10pm daily. Cafe 22 is an exciting street facing concept, classy, split level, deliciously ambient, light, bright and airy, beautifully decorated featuring a wide and varied café bar style light bite and healthy snack menu complemented by speciality teas and coffees, liqueurs and liqueur coffees, beers, lagers and wonderful wines. Open from 7.30 am until 9.30 p.m. this really is the ideal location to sit and watch the world go by.
