Relax in The Old Toll House Bar dating back to 1750 with its unique and antique Scots oak carved fireplace and back bar fittings. Or visit Galloway`s newest bar - the New Toll House, with its unique and interesting transport theme, covering shipping, haulage and trains.

The hotel is an ideal base for fishing, walking and cycling and offers drying room and very secure bike storage. The large garden to the rear is a sun trap and offers outdoor drinking and dining in true `al fresco` style.

Play many local golf courses where we can arrange a total golfing break whilst saving you money on normal green fees. Shooting and fishing can also be arranged.
