Welcome to Culdearn House small hotel, a characterful small Scottish hotel situated deep in the valley of the River Spey in the picturesque Highland village of Grantown-on-Spey.
Built over 100 years ago using locally quarried granite stone, Culdearn House exudes a special atmosphere that brings guests from all over Scotland and further afield back time and time again. Traditional features such as original wood panelling, fine moulded ceilings and marble fireplaces, blend agreeably with modern standards of comfort to give guests at the hotel a memorable stay. The proprietors have created a haven at Culdearn House which is also their family home, and the house is full of personal touches which will make you feel welcome the minute you walk in.
Dining at Culdearn House is an experience to remember. Log fire, candlelit tables, attentive service and simply some of the best food Scotland has to offer.
Accolades from a Red Rosette from the AA to three Medallions from The Taste of Scotland speak for themselves and underline the quality of the food offered at Culdearn. The Restaurant, developed over many years and run by head chef Feona, has built up an enviable reputation for first class cuisine. The menu changes daily, and features prime Scotch beef, hill fed lamb, fresh fish from the Moray coast, salmon, game and poultry from the local estates. Dinner at £32.00 per person or Dinner, bed * breakfast at £85.00 per person per night.
Candlelit dining for up to 18 guests.
Vegetarians welcome.
