The Stewart Hotel is a small family run hotel in the heart of the West Highlands by Alan and Jo Hogg.
The Hotel is set in over 4 acres of secluded woodland gardens by the River Duror. Offering the ideal base for touring the West Coast of Scotland, Iona, Staffa, Rhum, Eigg and Mull being amongst the many Islands. Also the majestic Western Highlands and the Inner Hebrides are all within easy reach and providing you with a home from home in the highlands. Whether you are here to enjoy peace and quiet or more energetic pursuits. The Stewart Hotel offers the ideal base for making yourself at home in the Highlands and Islands. The Hotel is a comfortable two hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh and is perfectly placed for touring the Highlands and Argyll.

With majestic mountains and clear lochs, we can lay claim to some spectacular Scottish scenery, and we recommend that you are never without your camera. Located between the fishing town of Oban and the Highland town of Fort William, there will be plenty of outdoor activities and places to visit to suit all tastes and weathers.

From Argyll`s Castle Stalker to the Historic Glencoe, the Ski slopes of the Corries and the Nevis Range, also we can highly recommend the Indoor Ice Wall and Centre at Kinlochleven.

For a more leisurely stroll we suggest a visit to Cuil Bay which is a short walk from the hotel. Alternatively, why not plan a visit to the Islands of Mull, Iona and Staffa, all within easy reach of the Hotel and a must do when in the area. A full day`s trip to The Isle of Skye will certainly make for a memorable visit.

We have a recommended itinerary of trips and excursions to suit all our guests, which include the glorious beaches of Mallaig, the Jacobite and Harry Potter steam railway,
