Set in a quiet mews, 50 metres from the sea, The Summer House is an enchanting Grade II Regency House, stylishly converted into a small hotel and restaurant...fresh flowers, polished wood, tropical walled garden and innovative Mediterranean food.
The philosophy of the owners is simple - great food, aesthetically beautiful surroundings and an informal happy atmosphere.
Main rooms are a happy marriage of sunshine yellows and blues - squashy sofas rub shoulders with pieces of pure gothic carving - and a curving glass tower floods the house with light.
Spacious bedrooms are individually furnished... but it is the addition of small touches, fresh flowers, beautiful collectables and an eclectic mix of family pieces that sets them apart.
And the restaurant continues the theme....
