Lakes Hotel is a small family run hotel in the centre of Windermere village in the English Lake District, Cumbria, and UK. It is about 150 yards from Windermere rail and bus stations, and is noted for its warm and friendly atmosphere, comfort and cleanliness. Built in 1860, originally as a bank, this fine traditional stone building has a central location convenient for shops and a good variety of restaurants, with ample private car parking available within its grounds. Lakes Super tours operate from the Lakes Hotel in the centre of Windermere village in the English Lake District, Cumbria, and UK. We have luxury 11 and 16 seater mini-coaches with ample head and legroom, and excellent visibility from all seats. We offer spectacular and informative Lake District tours including scenic and cultural attractions. Our knowledgeable and cheerful driver/guides are professionally qualified and will give you lots of opportunities for photographs and for short strolls. |
