Situated in a quiet corner of Grasmere overlooking the lake and surrounded by majestic fells. Just 2 minutes walk from the village centre. The hotel stands in one acre of beatifully tendered gardens which boast an outdoor swimming pool and putting green. There is also a private pier on the lake shore.
The hotel has two great guest lounges which are spacious and light and have panoramic views of the surrounding fells. On chilly days there is a roaring log fire and a selection of board games or magazines to relax with.
The Gold Rill`s position in the Lake District makes it the ideal place from which to explore the most breathtaking scenery and fascinating attractions on the door step.
Build up your energy for an afternoon`s fell walking on Fairfields Horseshoe - one of Wainwrights classic walks which can be seen from the hotel with a refreshing drink and a tasty bar lunch.
