Few Hotels in the Western Highlands have such long and distinguished history as The Argyll Hotel. Designed in 1750 by the famous builder John Adam The Argyll formed part of the total rebuilding of Inveraray commissioned by the third Duke of Argyll. The interior of The Argyll reflects its history and the elegant style of its renowned creator.
Originally built to accommodate guests to the castle, The Argyll today offers standards of hospitality that more than live up to its illustrious past. Completely modernised and refurbished, the hotel is now one of the premier hotels on the West Coast of Scotland offering excellent standards of food and accommodation.
Recent additions to the hotel include new conference, banquet and function rooms, new conservatory with stunning views over Loch Fyne and new executive bedrooms built to four star standard.
Set at the gates to Inveraray Castle, the Argyll Hotel offers splendid views over Loch Fyne and Benn Bhuidhe in the distance.
