Buckatree Hall Hotel is highly commended by The English Tourist Board as a 4 Star hotel. It sits by its own lake and gardens and you can let your cares disappear as you stroll past the lake.

Many of the hotels 62 bedrooms boast a continental influence with doors opening onto individual balconies. You can look across the well-maintained gardens and some with panoramic views of Shropshire as you fill your lungs deeply with the fresh countryside air.

The tasteful bedroom decoration attempts to create a home from home and the modern amenities range from satellite television to trouser press.

The Severn Valley Railway is no distance away and sends you on a nostalgic, winding journey through the picturesque Shropshire countryside by steam train.
