Cannizaro House was built in the early eighteenth century as a gracious private residence. The beautiful landscaped ground hold many delightful surprises including an open air theatre in the summer. The south terrace provides an idyllic backdrop for afternoon tea or cocktails. Inside, the hotel combines country house tradition with a uniquely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The 45 bedrooms and suites, some with canopied four poster beds, are luxuriously furnished, with marble tiled bathrooms and modern amenities. The award winning restaurant is a favourite rendezvous for a business lunch or a sumptuous dinner with superb cuisine and attentive service. Six private rooms are available for meetings or dining for 10 to 100 guests or as a truly memorable setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
