Horsted Place is a magnificent Victorian mansion set in delightful grounds with views of the South Downs and overlooking the East Sussex National Golf Club with its two championship courses. Built in 1850, many of the details have been designed by Augustus Pugin including the grand staircase. Today this country house hotel is a warm and friendly setting for a short break, fine dining and meticulously planned private functions ranging from small business meetings to larger `exclusive use` wedding receptions. Resident guests of Horsted Place can also enjoy preferential rates at the East Sussex National.
