Tucked away down a leafy driveway nestling beside Oulton Broad. Ivy House Country Hotel is a mixture of sympathetic conversion of farm buildings and new buildings in the vernacular. Attention to detail is evident at every turn from replicating different styles of brick work to ensuring guests` individual needs are cheerfully met. Take a stroll around the four acres of country gardens or through the grounds to Oulton Broad for the broadside footpath. Have a car free day by foot, boat or train - easy to do from the hotel. Our 18th century thatched barn, with views across the gardens is a delightful setting in which to enjoy our excellent cuisine. Executive Chef, Richard Pye and his brigade use the best of local and English produce, aiming to keep the local ingredients above 70% on our menus, from local bacon and free range eggs to caught line seabass. The emphasis is on imaginative and freshly prepared dishes and that includes - bread, chutneys, ice creams and puddings. Individually furnished and decorated ensuite accommodation. Some have original beams, most have views of the surrounding countryside or gardens.

1 honeymoon suite - first floor bedroom with antique four poster bed and luxury bathroom. Stairs lead to its ground floor sitting room with French doors to patio overlooking garden and lily ponds. This Suite has fantastic panoramic views of Oulton Broad and the Broadland Countryside
