Le Friquet Country Hotel lies right in the heart of Guernsey. Its beautiful rural setting and traditional atmosphere offers the perfect spot for a refreshing break. Originally an old Guernsey farmhouse, the inside of the hotel has been totally refurbished with all the comforts expected of a modern country hotel, while retaining its charm and character.
Le Friquet Country Hotel is set in approximately six acres of wonderfully tended and mature gardens, the changing seasons are a delight as they unfold and whenever you visit, you will find our mature and extensive gardens a delight. Beyond the little Beck, over which there two foot bridges, is the swimming pool, sheltered tranquil and heated.
We have accomodation to suit most tastes, nineteen rooms and seven self catering apartments.
The hotel bar opens at 10.30am and stays open all day for the service of drinks as well as morning coffee and afternoon teas. The bar leads directly out to the patio and onto gardens. Enjoy a leisurely lunch or just bask in the sun.
The pool is heated throughout the season and is set in a more secluded part of the extensive gardens where there is ample space for sunbathing. So remember to bring your swimsuit!
The hotel has plenty of car parking space for those who wish to bring their own or hire a car, and for those who don`t, there is a bus stop 50 yards from the hotel.
One of Guernseys favourite restaurants with the locals, The Falcon Carvery, is right on the hotels doorstep. Fresh locally caught fish and chargrilled meats are a central feature of the menu.
In the interest of all our guests dogs and other pets are not permitted.
