Built by the celebrated Victorian artist William Widgery Lydford House has been a welcoming guest for over a hundred years. The perfect country retreat surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Dartmoor National Park in 8 acres of delightful gardens and pastureland with direct access onto the Granite Way Cycle path. The historic village of Lydford is famous for it gorge (National Trust) and castle. The moors are 5 minutes walk away and provide miles of wonderful scenery for walking, cycling and riding or just relaxing and whiling away lazy hours.
