| The Best Western the royal george hotel was built in 1598 as an iron masters cottage, where it is said, `he entertained lavishly`. This tradition has continued down the ages to the present day where you will enjoy the best of welsh produce in the recently refurbished angiddy restaurant. The angiddy restaurant can boast of a much-coveted red rosette among its many awards and to compliment your menu a fine international wine list. Our abbey lounge bar with a vast selection of malts is an ideal place to unwind and relax.
