Shieldhill is a country house hotel dating back in parts to 1199, with peaceful views over the rolling Scottish countryside of South Lanarkshire. There are sixteen individually-styled bedrooms, some with four-poster beds and en-suite Jacuzzis and others with antique mahogany furnishings and wonderful views of the garden and woodland. The magnificent honeymoon suite on two levels has a double Jacuzzi and king-sized bed and views of rolling hills and the River Clyde in the valley.
