After a good nights sleep in one of our bedrooms, plan your day over a Continental or Traditional English Breakfast with the morning papers, and return later to unwind in our cosy lounge area after a days touring. When we acquired the property in mid-2000 it was run down and in need of some TLC so we began a refurbishment project. We did, however, retain the timber floor as it contributes to the traditional style of the bar. The addition of modern and long forgotten pictures throughout the premises adds to the feel. The Squirrel Inn is a friendly place where folks drop by to have a nice meal along with a quality pint or a dram of fine single malt. The pub fare ranges from finger food to hearty main courses, with delicious soups and salads in between. The people are always friendly, and you can sit and have a quiet conversation in the relaxed traditional pub-style atmosphere |
