Since Georgian times, this impressive classical building has welcomed visitors in considerable comfort and style. As you arrive outside its elegant entrance you can almost feel the hustle and bustle of the coaching era and hear the footmen carrying the baggage of guests. Its location overlooking the ancient market place in the centre of King`s Lynn would have denoted its importance in a town peppered with fine historic buildings.

Today, whether you are on leisure or business you`ll find the hospitality just as warm as it was in the nostalgic times of the horse drawn coach. The hotel has 71 en-suite bedrooms including a number of feature rooms. All have radio, television, hairdryer and trouser press.

When returning from a day exploring the Norfolk countryside or from a lengthy business meeting there are facilities in each room for guests to make a refreshing cup of tea or coffee. Baby listening and babysitting services are available by prior arrangement. There is also a free car park.

An ancient port on the River Ouse, King`s Lynn has many historic buildings and is situated in unspoilt countryside. The Norfolk Broads are a short distance away, as are the quaint fishing villages at Wells, Blakeney and Cley. Unusual places to visit include Castle Acre Priory and Castle Rising Castle set in the centre of massive defensive Earthworks. Ratings/Awards:AA 3 Star Number of Rooms:71 Number Ensuite:71
