Whether you`ve booked one of our bedrooms or are simply visiting to dine in our restaurant, from the moment you walk through the door of our traditional 16th century Coaching Inn you`ll feel right at home.  Our aim is to keep things simple and offer you the opportunity to relax and let us take the strain. From our stunning yet relaxed restaurant with its stone flagged floors and roaring fire in the winter which is known for its fantastic food from fresh local ingredients, to our wonderfully comfortable rooms, we offer a money back guarantee that you`ll love The White Swan Inn. There are big comfortable sofas to sink into whilst you choose for dinner, a proper bar and cellar serving at least 6 wines by the glass and a choice or real ales all from Yorkshire. In our humble opinion the surrounding scenery is spectacular, the accommodation is luxurious, our food and wine is amongst the best in Britain and The White Swan team is about the friendliest you`ll ever come across.
