The hotel, built in 1833, stands in its own grounds above Ardbeg some mile and a quarter from Rothesay Town Centre, commanding outstanding views over the Bay, Firth of Clyde and Loch Striven. Car parking is available within the grounds.

The hotel is fully licensed and you can relax in comfort in the bar, lounge or conservatory while enjoying a bar lunch, afternoon tea, evening bar supper or a quiet drink.

Our restaurant with its panoramic view over the bay is where you can enjoy your table d`Hote four course or a la carte dinner. Make a reservation for our ever popular Sunday lunch.

Where ever possible, local produce is used with our cuisine being described as traditional Scottish with an International flavour. Dishes suitable for vegetarians are always on offer. Those with special dietary requirements can also be catered for.

All our five bedrooms are en-suite, either double or twin bedded, situated on the first floor and are fully equipped with all the necessities.
