Originally built in 1850 as the private home of one of Manchester`s wealthy cotton barons, this beautiful sandstone building is surrounded by picturesque Cheshire countryside, yet perfectly located for major motorway networks, main-line rail links and Manchester Airport. The hotel boasts 46 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a suite of Conference Rooms and an excellent restaurant where only the freshest ingredients are used, from the selection of bread baked each morning in the hotel bakery, to the fish delivered daily from the markets of Fleetwood and herbs grown in the hotel gardens. The wine list is an Imbiber`s Dream with 100 champagnes and 600 wines featured. Ratings/Awards:Egon Ronay 72%
