Ye Olde Anchor Inn, set in the mediæval town of Ruthin, offers the perfect spot to spend a night whilst touring North Wales. The 18th century inn, with its low ceilings and oak beams, used to be a stopping place for drovers on their way from Holyhead to Shropshire. All 26 bedrooms have a private shower or bath and there are two suites for the less physically able. Ye Olde Anchor Inn`s à la carte restaurant is open seven days a week. It is well known for its cuisine and therefore it is always advisable to book. The restaurant has been awarded two rosettes for the standard of its cuisine by the AA Ratings/Awards:WTB 3 Stars
