Set in its own manicured gardens and private beach with a seasonal sailing school, the hotel overlooks Old Grimsby Sound and the Cromwellian fort known as `The Blockhouse`.

Activities include tennis court, croquet lawn, heated pool, kite flying, shrimping or fishing and even an `Age of Sail` experience on the hotel`s very own locally built 36ft Gaff Cutter.
Carefully prepared imaginative cuisine makes an excellent showcase for locally caught fish, island vegetables and Tresco reared beef.
