Tucked away in Troutbeck, one of the prettiest areas of the Lake District, Broadoaks is a wonderful retreat from which to explore this beautiful part of England. Views from the first floor are truly breathtaking, reaching over Lake Windermere and the Troutbeck Valley into the 10 acres of private grounds that belong to the hotel. Designed to be relaxing and luxurious, yet mindful of the graceful building`s past, bedrooms are furnished with four poster or antique brass bedsteads and are fully equipped with the latest Jacuzzi, spa whirlpool and sunken baths.

Broadoaks boasts the award-winning Oaks Restaurant which has a wide reputation and a choice of a`la carte and house menus as well as an extensive fine wine list. All guests have use of a local private leisure club or can relax in the grounds trying their hand at pitch and putt. Golf, fishing and clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged. Licenced for civil wedding ceremonies.
