On the site of an old travellers coaching inn the hotel is well positioned for Manchester, Chester and the Lake District. The hotel has just undergone a full refurbishment of all its facilities. There is always a warm welcome, whether for business or for pleasure, we know you will enjoy your stay at Sporting lodge Inns. We have the luxury of a lodge, which accommodates 72 bedrooms including 26 American sized suites. The Escape Zone is a fully equipped fitness and leisure complex, which includes a gymnasium, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and solarium. All guests can enjoy full use of the Escape Zone during their stay.
