The Neptune Inn & Restaurant`s new owners, Paul and Hilary Berriff, have given this charming 19th Century coaching inn a new look. The Neptune, built in the 1830`s, now resembles its counterparts on the New England coast of Maine - warm and friendly with that extra touch of quality. Walking in through the front door you can almost smell the cinnamon in the apple pies. The mellow brown tones and white clapboard walls, model boats and dramatic black and white photographs, bring that North American coastal charm to North Norfolk. The Lloyd Loom chairs add to the relaxed ambience in the bar, lounge and restaurant. The 7 ensuite bedrooms too, with their stunning white furniture, create a stylish tranquillity. The food is all lovingly created like works of art, by Head Chef Jon Cleland, from daily fresh local produce.
