The Ordnance Hotel was built in 1888; it takes its name from the army quarters and stables that previously occupied the site. It is the first hotel you come to when driving on to the seafront. For the last five months Neil Quigley has managed the Hotel for the Lohan family, who also own the White Horse in Leiston. The hotel has already achieved a welcoming and friendly place to be, while planning to make it the best for both tourist and business travellers. Bedrooms are all en suite and have recently been refurbished and contain colour television with satellite and facilities for making tea and coffee.` Quotes` Restaurant which can seat one hundred people. A large and comfortable bar with weekly entertainment including live music and karaoke nights.
