Famous country house hotel and restaurant. Formerly owned by celebrity chef/author John Tovey who remains a consultant now that Miller Howe is owned by former international newspaper editor Charles Garside.
Over the past six years the new ownership has refurbished all the public rooms including the restaurant which has unsurpassed views across Lake Windermere to the mountain peaks. Gourmet cuisine is under the direction of former Marco Pierre white chef, Paul Webster who is a Master Chef of Great Britain.
The Hotel now has an additional three luxury suites in the Miller Howe Cottage in the grounds.
