The Bear Hotel at Woodstock is a 13th century coaching inn with open fires and old world charm. It nestles in the shadow of Blenheim Palace, the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill, and is close to Bladon where he is laid to rest.

The hotel is at the gateway to the Cotswolds, and only eight miles from Oxford and a convenient base for sightseeing at Stratford-upon-Avon, Burford and Broadway.

The hotel maintains its character and charm; you can be sure of a warm welcome from Gaius Wyncoll, the General Manager and his team.
