Built around a former 17th century residence, Tankersley Manor is set in an elevated position backing onto the edge of the National Park and woodland. The hotel offers 70 bedrooms, each with a character of its own. Many retain original features like exposed beams and windowsills of Yorkshire stone and all have private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy the finest food in the oak-beamed split level restaurant or relax in the hotel`s own country pub with open log fires.
Work has now commenced on extending Tankersley Manor to provide new luxury accommodation and extensive leisure facilities.
The main hotel building remains intact and work will be limited to one wing of the hotel and should not impact on the enjoyment of the guests staying at the hotel.
A new Reflections Leisure Club will be provided, incorporating an indoor heated 12.5m swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Steam & Sauna rooms, fully equipped gymnasium and four Beauty Therapy Suites.
35 beautifully appointed bedrooms including executive rooms and suites will be added to Tankersley Manor, bringing the total to 100. Ratings/Awards:AA/RAC 4 Star Restaurant Name:Hotel Restaurant Chef:David Wrend |
