With origins in the 13th century, this fine Scottish Baronial Hall is most famous for its connections with the celebrated poet Robert Burns, who wrote many of his well known works whilst staying at Friars Carse.

The hotel is set in 45 acres of woodlands stretching to the River Nith with private salmon and trout fishing. 21 en-suite bedrooms with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, telephone. Leisure facilities include a 9 hole putting green and panelled snooker room.

After a day out on the fairways, Friars Carse is the perfect place to sit back and relax and analyse your game. Set in 45 acres of woodland extending to the banks of the River Nith, the hotel dates back to the 13th century
